I will begin with the ancestors of Calvin Taylor Ham.
Before I do , I wish to thank
Dottie is a distant cousin and has been working on the HAM Family
for over 20 years. She is a member of the DAR and has
documentation for most of what you see here.
Much of this information came from her.
Dottie has been wonderful in helping me and sharing her Data
with a new comer to Genealogy.
I would also like to thank, Mary Lindsay, daughter of Evans
Mitchell, and another of my cousins who has been so kind in
talking to me. She is the one who gave Dottie my name.
Her Uncle Bill, or William D. Mitchell, has also given me names
and dates, as well as a copy of the EVANS Family Bible.
Also, Lea Dowd, who works with the Muscogee County Web Page.
She has been kind enough to add my Family Bibles to that page.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH !

MAGGIE HAM SALTER died at a young age from Pellagra. It was reported by the family she died in childbirth. This may be true also. I do know death records show cause of death to be Pellegra.
After her death, her daughter, Clara, my Grandmother, went to live with her Grandmother, Samantha Evans. She was there for two years until Samantha died of Tetnus. At that time, Clara went to live with her "Aunt Sweet", who is, Mattie Lee Ham.
The sons, stayed with their Father.
