This page is about my Great-Grandfather Harry Montgomery SALTER,
who has done all he could to elude me. I searched high and low and had just about given up hope of ever discovering his ancestry. A break finally came when I received his Military Records. I found his place of birth was Moundsville,in Marshall Co. West Virginia. Thanks to the great Web Site of Marshall Co, I was able to make a connection to, Carlisle Bowling, who was kind enough to do a look-up for me. This provided the link to his parents and siblings. Thank You Carlisle!

I would encourage you to visit Marshall County West Virginia's Web Page and discover all of the things they have to offer.
