I mean, look at her. Brains and beauty. This type of package rarely comes giftwrapped so perfectly, but in Mitzi's case things just fall into place with a snap.
She would be fantastic in a JC film.
Mitzi's real claim to fame was the 5 years (Thanks Lisa!) she spent on USA Networks show Silk Stalkings. Her partner, Chris Lorenzo (Rob Estes) is also on the wishlist.
I never really got into the show, or Mitzi for that matter until years after Silk Stalkings was cancelled and was playing in reruns. Then I got hooked. Well, to put it more accurately, she lured me in. Kind of the way a deer is shocked into a stand-still by the headlights of the semi bearing down on it.

JC has always had women play pivotal roles in his films. They were not bimbo's (although some think Sheryl Lee's character in Vampires was an airhead, I didn't).
Anyway, back to Mitzi. Not only does her acting ring of honesty, you don't get the sense that she's not trying to insult the audience, she always makes you root for her, or at least come to your own conclusion that she's playing with a full deck. Because she is so natural and like the person off the street, you can relate to her much easier than some glamour-puss whose only acting credentials come from strutting down a runway in Paris.
On Silk Stalkings, Mitzi was always running around in tight mini-skirts and heels (don't ask me how) while capping some bad guy in the ass with her revolver. That alone warrants her to have a sizable role in a JC film. She can easily handle the action. She's had years of experience doing that sort of stuff. But even more than that I'd like to see her in a role where she is terrorized by some unseen force a la The Fog or Halloween. This way her smarts could be used to their extent, and I've never, hardly ever seen her cry or be frightened. The times that I have though, made me upset for her and I think any audience with half a heart would ache for her too and care deeply about what happens to her.
Oh yeah, and she does the cutest thing with her lips, they sort of curl up like a cat whenever she's sorta happy or just heard some wisecrack or something. That is an amazing thing to see.

want the world to know it. The best thing about Mitzi's
post-Silk Stalking's life? The fact that she's
on Baywatch now, and I can watch her running around in a
skimpy bathing suit every week! Woohoo!
;) Nah, I'm kidding, I don't really watch Baywatch, even though she is on it. I got more important things to do than slobber over beach bunnies, ya know? The only other 'Mitzi' I knew was a Southern dame whose black as night hair was in contrast to her wrinkly and rapidly declining features. She was intent on marrying a guy half her age (she was in her sixties). Recapturing her youth I guess, or else the turkey she snagged was loaded. Dunno, don't care. Mitzi Kapture (I'm sure you'll agree) is much more easy on the eyes. Wouldn't you say? |
