On a black and unholy Halloween night years ago, little Michael Myers brutally slaughtered his sister in cold blood. But for the last fifteen years, town residents have rested easy, knowing that he was safely locked away in a mental hospital...until tonight.

Tonight, Michael returns to the same quiet neighborhood to relive his grisly murder again...and again...and again. For this is a night of evil. Tonight is Halloween!

In 1988, the crime rate in the United States rises four hundred percent. To curb the rampant violence in the streets, the once great city of New York becomes the one maximum security prison in the entire country. A fifty-foot containment wall is erected, completely surrounding and isolating Manhattan Island. All Bridges and waterways are mined. The United States Police Force, like an army, is encamped all around the prison and helicopters circle overhead incessantly. There are no guards inside, only prisoners, left to live on their own in a place where lawlessness reigns supreme and there is only one rule: once you get in, you don't come out.

It is now 1997. The plane conducting the American President (Donald Pleasance) to a summit meeting of world leaders is abducted by terrorists and crashlands in New York. Before the Police Force can reach him, the President is taken hostage. The only way to rescue him in time for the decisive conference is to have a prisoner infiltrate the dark bowels of the penal colony. The man chosen for the job is Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell), a tough-as-nails veteran of the Siberian Front in World War III, sentenced for robbing a bank. In exchange for his freedom, Snake is given 23 hours to bring back the President alive.

In 1981, John Carpenter's futuristic thriller stunned audiences everywhere with its nightmarish vision of New York at the end of the century. Boasting first-rate special effects, non-stop excitement and an all-star cast, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK set the tone for the action epics of the '80s. In addition to Carpenter favorites Kurt Russell and Donald Pleasance, the cast includes Lee Van Cleef, Ernest Borgnine, Isaac Hayes, Adrienne Barbeau and Harry Dean Stanton.

John Carpenter, director of Halloween, The Fog, and Escape From New York, continues his phenomenal string of hits with The Thing, a new version of the classic horror thriller starring Kurt Russell. It's set in the winter of 1982 at a research station in Antarctica where a twelve man research team finds an alien being that has fallen from the sky and has remained buried in the snow for over 100,000 years. Soon it is unfrozen and unleashed, creating havoc and terror as it changes forms and becomes one of them. Put this frightening story together with outstanding performances, incredible special effects by Roy Arbogast, makeup by Rob Bottin, and special visual effects by master Albert Whitlock and you've got a movie that Time Magazine describes as "Horrific".

She was born in Detroit...on an automobile assembly line. But she is no ordinary automobile. Deep within her chassis lives an unholy presence. She is Christine - a red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury whose unique standard equipment includes an evil, indestructable vengeance that will destroy anyone in her way. She seduces 17-year old Arnie Cunningham (Keith Gordon), who becomes consumed with passion for her sleek, rounded, chrome-laden body. She demands his complete and unquestioned devotion and when outsiders seek to interfere, they become the victims of Christines horrifying wrath. John Carpenter brings Stephen Kings best-selling novel to life in this chilling thriller.

They influence our decisions without us knowing it. They numb our senses without us feeling it. They control our lives without us realizing it. They Live.

Horror master John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing) directs this action-packed sci-fi thriller about one man's battle against aliens who are systematically gaining control of the earth. Rugged Roddy Piper stars as the loner who stumbles upon a terrifying discovery: ghoulish creatures are masquerading as humans while they lull the public into submission through subliminal advertising messages. Only specially made sunglasses make the deadly truth visible.

Suspenseful science-fiction and heart-pounding action highlight this masterfully ironic and startling tale co-starring Keith David and Meg Foster.

The man with the patch is back. Call him Snake. Kurt Russell and Debra Hill do to the Big Orange what they did to the Big Apple in Escape From New York - with even more futuristic thrills and slam-bang action!

Into the 9.6-quaked Los Angeles of 2013 comes Snake Plissken (Russell). His job: wade through L.A.'s ruined landmarks to retrieve a doomsday device. Don't miss the excitement as Snake surfs Wilshire Blvd., shoots hoops at the Coliseum, dive bombs the Happy Kingdom theme park, and mixes it up with a wild assortment of friends, fiends and foes (Stacy Keach, Steve Buscemi, Peter Fonda, George Corraface, Cliff Robertson, Pam Grier, and more). Escape From L.A. is a "go-for-broke action extravaganza!" (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times).
