Ok, so sue me, even I have a favorite beefcake actor.

When all the dust has settled I still think that Dolph Lundgren has a leg up on Sly Stallone, Ahnuld Schwarzenegger and all the other rag tag bargain basement superheroes stashed in Hollywood.

Great thing about Dolph is that he's got classic good looks (although he's Swedish) and can act, it's just that most folks tend to mistake his acting for anything but. I mean, he actually went to MIT which is pretty damn good, and was also able to train with legendary Mas Oyama in the art of Kyokushinaki Karate. Mas, in his heyday, was able to knock a bull unconscious with a single blow from his reknowned fists.

I think JC would do well to cast Dolph as a leading man b/c he handles action really well (that's all he ever does) and is a genre player to boot. He's actively participated in great B-movies like Universal Soldier, Masters of the Universe (as He-Man!), and I Come in Peace.

I mean, it wouldn't be a stretch at all to plop Dolph down in a BTILC scenario, or something along the suspense-ridden lines of AO13 or something you know?

Or how about Dolph as the leading man in a sequel to They Live? He could play Roddy Piper's long lost brother or something?

What I'm getting at is that Dolph does not have the highly noticeable speech impediment that Sly, Ahnuld, and Jean-Claude are notoriously famous for. But he is known for doing mainly B-style movies whenever one of his mainstream jaunts flops for reasons beyond his control.

Personally, I couldn't think of a better fit for a new leading man in a JC film, the only problem is, is that JC is hiring heroes who reflect his age group (James Woods, fiftyish as a Vampire killer!) So this sort of biased hero casting on JC's part might lead to actors much older than Dolph instead of the great blonde one.
