Racing Achievements

1992 was the year I started drag racing. It was a great learning experience. I made it to a couple of semi-finals, but had no wins.

I was still learning the bracket racing ropes in 93. Made it to a few finals, but still no wins.

This was my first year running in the Sears Craftsman points series for Division 7. I finally got a couple of wins and placed fourth in the series.

In 1995, I changed to a new car. I didn't enter the points series, but won a few more races.

1996 was a fair year. Won a few more races and placed well in some big money events. Finished 6th in the points series for the Sportsman class.

This year started out real good, until I lost the motor in my car. Since I had already joined the points series, I borrowed my mom's car and won several races. In fact, mom's car won enough races to earn me the Street Championship!!

I didn't do much racing in 98, other than points races. I was trying to get my car going again and was busy building our new home. I did get my mom's car to the track enough to earn a few more wins, and another Street Championship!! That made two in a row.

I started racing the points series in the Street class again, but am planning on moving up to the Sportsman class in my car. I think it's finally ready

Future Goals

My future goals are to get my 67 Camaro done so I can run in the S/ST class, 10.90 index, within the next few years. I would like to try to run a few Division and National events. I would also like to help my wife and oldest son in their racing endeavors in the Street and High School classes, both of which are Craftsman E.T. classes.
