Java IRC
I reccommend downloading an IRC client. If you do not wish to do so, you may go to the Java Barbie room.

mIRC
mIRC is what I personally would recommend. Its very customizable. At the moment, mIRC, 5.5 is the newest version {released 1-8-99). You can download either mirc55s.exe (16bit, 925152) or mirc55t.exe (32 bit, 974848). Please note, you need the right Winsock to run mIRC 32bit.. I will try to find out how you can tell, and give you more information later.

    mIRC-X {I got a trojen from there once, be careful what add-on scripts you take}.

    Pirch
    Right now the current versions for Pirch are Pirch98 {Win 95/98} and Pirch16 {3.1}. I like Pirch but most people don't. Unless you have already tried mIRC and didn't like it, don't start with this. It is also customizable.

    I also have this program but I don't really like it, this quote is from their website. "Finally, an IRC client that appeals to users of all skill levels. Instantly usable, endlessly configurable." Its true, its a very basic program... until you add-on to it. Current release- 1.0 Beta 4.
