This is the land in which I live.
The Swamplands of Southeast Louisiana.
I make my home in the highlands, Just 20 miles north of here. This is also,the home of my brothers. Deer roam freely on the high grounds. The land is home to the Nutria, Beaver, and Rabbits. The trees are filled with Squirrels, and Birds of all kinds.The waters , although muddy,are clean , and filled with fish and Alligators. We are also home to snakes,poisionous and non.
Man has a way of destroying this type of beauty.
Fortunately, there are many who see this beauty and are willing to fight to
preserve it.When I'm alone in these places, I feel the spirits of the world
surround me. Words, cannot do justice to the feelings,but the spirits of the
swamps and the life it holds are there. Take a short trip by boat , or thru the
many raised walkways here... Open yourself ... And Feel..............
