Congratulations!!Now that you have been through the GC Training Program, passed the GC exam/evaluation, and have been officially accepted as a Community Leader, it is time for you to begin your duties as an RF CL.It is quite natural for a new CL to ask questions regarding his/her duties here in the RainForest. With that in mind, there is one thing to remember: "The only dumb question is the one you didn't ask." In fact, we developed a whole page for you to reference, and titled it CL FAQs, so check it out. We also have a RainForest Orientation page for you to reference, and learn about how we do things here in the RF. CLs are encouraged to keep the lines of communication open, to post their ideas and opinions at the RF CL Forum, and stay abreast of what is going on in GeoCities by making frequent visits to the General Forum, and joining in on those discussions as well. As a CL, you will assist RF residents, monitor your block assignments, vote (which is also the way we handle role call here in the RF), and participate in team projects and activities. There are many different teams in the RF that you can join, so just click on clproj.html to see what they are. When you became a RainForest Community Leader, you became part of an exciting team of talented individuals who are focused on making the RainForest a wonderful place to homestead. You will be expected to support and promote the RainForest theme, follow GC CL guidelines, and the guidelines set forth by the RF CL program. If you have any questions at all about homesteading, or about your position as a CL in the RainForest, consult your RF/GC mentor. We are happy to have you on the team!! |
