I enjoyed the nice, and VERY user friendly setup. I didn't use any of the help because I searched through Yahoo! For a million hours trying to find an HTML guide. I found one. And needless to say.... this one is better. Too bad I didnn't find it in the fi
st place. The only flaw on this page is that the counter isn't showing. :P

Wow!! I have been working on my MANY paged homesite for about 3 years now, but never even tried a form because I was afraid of words like "cgi-script"!! *L* Thank you SOOOO much for making it easy!! This is an excellent site!!!

Two days ago I decided to hop onto the geocities page and see how complicated it was to get a home page going. Keep in mind, I have NEVER done any- thing like it before and didn't know html from...well, you get the picture. With the assistance from this
location, I was able to create my own form (in my case a guestbook so the results would be e-mailed to me), place images onto my page and link to other sites. This may not sound like much but, trust me, being totally unfamiliar with anything about html,
it made all the world of difference to me!!

You have a great tutorial for forms :-) and
I've pointed a bunch of folk over here in
the past. I think your tutorial is very well
done, with concise but
spritely :-) instructions... *grin* Hehehe!
There is one thing, I gotta tell ya...
Uhmmm... how to say this? Uhhh, well - here's
the deal: You can use
radio button and select menu input for
the Geocities Guestbook :-) I've done
exhaustive experiments with the guestbook
(not finished experimenting yet though!)
and ALTHOUGH CHECKBOXES CANNOT BE
USED, the cgi will process the
others, at least with the instructed
link ;p to sign the guestbook (not the
homestead processor:)
You're right, and I have changed the above info to reflect that I am not using regular form tags in this Guestbook.. MB
By the way, how
does one get listed at the top of an
applicable forum, like your tutorial? I
think it would be kinda nifty if I could
get the Guidebook listed for the guestbook
help forum? :-)
Just make it good enough to grab the attention of the GeoFolks in charge of the forums and perhaps they'll add your site to the forum.. MB

This Page Sucks. No Help!!!!!

After all the nice comments I made in the "survey" form and then finding out it was "only a test" ..... oh well! Seriously, I had many forms on my pages, but found much valuable information in your tutorial. Especially all the extra bonuses that no other
utorial has ever offered or explained. I did vote for your site and I'm studying to be a Community Leader so will be back here often and will add your link to several of my pages. Thannks again.

This has been extremely helpful and easy to read and understand. Thanks...from a beginner.

Macboy, I find that your tutorial is quite helpful. I do believe I can improve it, though. I couldn't find your e-mail address anywhere on the site, so if you e-mail me, I'll show you how to make the name, e-mail address, and subject become part of the e-
ail message's header.

Very, very helpful and easy to understand! Well
worth taking to the time to read, and actually
quite amusing, unlike some tutorials (like the
Microsoft Works tutorials - now those are boring!)
The "freebies" are nice too!

That was simply great. All help locations should be this...er...well...HELPFUL! All problems solved! Thanks a bunch.

Instead of wandering around aimlessly in GeoCities "Help" which just leads to indepth technobabble that only an advanced user of HTML would understand, I spent about 30 minutes here, and got the job done! Thanks a million!
