The GeoGuestbook's submit form does not work the same way as the regular GeoForm script. Therefore, you are correct, unfortunately: you cannot use the next-url tag with the guestbook.

Well, this site is really nice! I asked someone a few months ago how to make forms. The person told me how to make pull-down menus, text fields, and textareas, but nothing much else. Well, she also put how to make submit and reset bu
tons. But I learned a ton of other stuff here that I never knew before! I thought I was a pro. Well, there is one little thing you left out, but it probably wouldn't be a super simple form then. Still, there is a way that you can change the submit but
on from the grey thing to an image, but I'm not so sure what the tag is. If you could put it on your page it would be perfect!

Ackk. Oh well. At least you confirmed that short of Geocities offering a new "forum script" in their CGI-BIN there is NO way to have a page where comments are reproduced below the textarea field automatically. What about web sites that offer to remote hos
CGI scripts for those whose servers don't offer/allow submission of CGI/Perl? Maybe that would be an interesting addition.......

I had signed this guestbook many moons ago, but my entry is now at the bottom of the second guestbook page. I would just like to re-iterate (sp?) how fabulous this page is. I went a little form crazy after using this page. I have several up on my Canadian Celebrities page now.
That's enough about my page, now how about MacBoy's. It is fabulous! What I'm curious about is... do I now know all there is to know about forms at GeoCities? Or should MacBoy come out with an Advanced Super Simple Form Tutorial?

Wow! I was wondering how I was ever going to figure the blasted thing out, but this was waaaaay easier! Just open two browsers, one with the form you're working on, and one with this tutorial in it, and away you go! Keep up the good work!
