RAISE THE PRAISE
We're called to praise and glorify our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Now, there are several ways in which you can praise the Lord, but one of the most common ways is through praise and worship songs. In this section of the Main Stage, I'll be featuring the lyrics to a favorite Praise and Worship song. What's the purpose of this, you might be asking. Well, I'm hoping that this will remind some of you who may not find time throughout the busy day to give the praise that's due to God, and also I just like praise and worship music and can't imagine not including it in my music page. :)
Let's raise the praise, and give God the glory He deserves!

You know, no matter what happens in this world there's one thing that we can always be sure of and rejoice in--Our Redeemer lives! He's alive and well and working in our lives right at this very moment. And I believe that with all my heart...I know that my Redeemer lives!

What's new in the music world?? Here you'll find out! I'll keep you updated with some of the new albums coming out from several of the recording companies...as well as other music news you just might want to know. Also, if any of you out there know of any important music news that I've forgotten or skipped over, if you send it to me, I'll be glad to add it to the list of news!
1) Musicforce.com will be hosting a chat with Jars of Clay on September 21st at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time/5:00 p.m. Pacific time. Click here for more details! Then, on the 26th of September, V*Enna will be celebrating the release of their debut album, "Where I Wanna Be", with a chat also at Musicforce.com More info for that to come...
2) Want to enter a contest that gives away free music as prizes?? I thought that might get your attention... This week (9-6 thru 9-12), Crosswalk.com is giving away a new CD by Charles Billingsley entitled "Marks Of The Mission". For more info, click here!
3) Jaci Velasquez recently received a Latin Grammy Nomination for her performance of the song "Llegar A Ti" from her Spanish album of the same name!! Congrats, Jaci! Also, Jaci just released her new album, "Chrystal Clear", on September 5th. This new project is her 3rd English album...and I've heard that that new group, "Plus One", plans to join her on the Chrystal Clear tour!
4) Larue is making news, and not just with their music! The brother and sister team have written up a petition for abstinence to be taught in all public schools as the only form of 100% safe-sex. But they need 250,000 signatures before they can submit this petition to Washington D.C. PLEASE, visit this link and at least take a look at what they have to say. If it's something you want to help with, you can print out the petition and get people to sign it, then send it back to Larue. They've done alot of research and have statistics to prove their point...but the bottom line is that God has a plan, and we as Christians need to stand up for that plan. Thanks! Click here!
