Timing
The whole world revolves around perfect timing. Whether it is intentional or completely by accident, everything happens because something else happened at the right time. From an ant getting crushed underfoot to global weather patterns. If everything happened at the same time, there would be nothing left. Or rather, nothing would change. Things must all happen in perfect synchronization to work. A car won't run if all the parts of the engine don't work in perfect time. If one minute detail is out of place, you're stuck on the side of the road. The same is true of love. It all must come together at the right time. Moving too quickly or too slowly can kill love just as the weather can kill a huge forest with a drought or a flood. But our society forces us to constrict our lives to follow cirtan guidelines. We have to work. We have to go to school and obey the laws. These rules can cause the most perfect love to wither like a beautiful rose with too little rain. Or perhaps it doesn't even give the seed of the rose a chance to grow. But we have brought this upon ourselves. We created these rules. We created this society. It is not laws and rules that form a utopia. It is the lack of those. But it's too late in the evolution of man to form a perfect anarchy. We have been far too corrupted by society to be able to judge right and wrong for ourselves. Now we rely on others to make rules that tell us how to live and how to function properly. For now and evermore, love must wait. It is not uncommon for the perfect people to meet and perhaps try to form a relationship. But it is very rare indeed that these two people come together at the right time. The wrong timing could cause these people to be stuck in lives thousands of miles apart. Or they could be separated by a mere twenty minute car ride. In either case, the love will be destroyed because our society made it so it was the wrong time. It could be said that all that happens is fate. But society destroyed fate a long time ago. For now all we can do is try to work around the society. Hopefully we will meet the right person at the right time, however uncommon that might be. All we can do is wait. I guess I just need a little more patience.
