Well you have arrived safe, see I told you there was nothing to be scared of silly!! unless your afraid of lightening?.....Which I happen to find exciting and love watching the flashing and the hues of colors change. they are so mysterious and invigorating. Most people are afraid of them, because they have the power, the power of the heavens

Well lets not worry about that right now, lets walk thru the cemetary and seek the knowledge that is here, the years of stories, of lives, of people who once where. Yes I have to say I have a fetish for cemetary's, especially old one , there are full of history and there are many stories that can be told. Some old....Some new!! We shall see as we go (turns) You are comming arn't you?

In 1865, J. Dawson Hidgepath

Came to Fairplay, Colorado

looking to make his fortune

looking to find a wife.

J. Dawson Hidgepath found

a painful and plummeting demise,

falling several hundred feet

from off the side of Mt. Boss.

J. Dawson Hidgepath's

broken body was discovered

at the foot of the huge mountain,

that he had been prospecting upon.

J. Dawson Hidgepath was buried,

in Fairplay's Buckskin cemetery.

Two days later, his corpse was discovered,

in bed with a dance hall girl in Alma.

The authorities suspected foul play,

and promptly reburied the corpse

But he would not rest.

Before too long,

the moldering corpse,

of J. Dawson Hedgepath.

of J.Dawson Hedgepath

shows up in bed with

a schoolmarm in Reno.

This kept happening.

Again, and again, and again.

No one knew what to do.

They finally took the bones

of J. Dawson Hidgepath,

and threw them down the outhouse.

That seemed to do the trick.

Seems as though this man had only one idea, and that was being in someone's bed. Do you envy him, or maybe glad your not wearing his shoes........if he was wearing them at all....
