A Rainy Day
Rainy days are dreary to some,
Cheerful to others.
Dreary when we are alone
Cheerful with love and a fireplace
I look out the window
Rain drops course gently
Down the window pane.
Trees and flowers drink the rain
Bud anew.......
The sun shares it's warmth
Opening the buds,spreading the leaves.
Spectacular rainbows of color
To people who see clearly
The rainy day brings beauty
And love beside a fire
Away from the wet.
