"Metallica: Through the ages"
|
Metallica, the band once know for their hard hitting pounding riffs, is
now being called alternica by many of their long time fans. Fans
that feel losts without the fast pace music, and long hair that they are
use to seeing. The only question that needs to be asked is " What is Alternica?"
Alternica as most fans refer to it is the new sound of Metallica.
The Metallica that get their hair cut, and the metallica that adds a deeper
meaningful sound to the once screaming guitars.
The Band that led a revolution in the world of frizzy hair and tigh spandax
known as metal are now being called sell-outs and seem like dinner's left
overs. Since their early early years Metallica has grown and become
a more spirted and inovated band. Through their music they shall
roam through thick and thin. |

As the editor of MBA I feel that Metallica has not changed enough for me
to put them down for anything that they have done in the past years. The
pace of the music may have gotten slower, but because it did slow down
you can finally feel the depth of the lyrics and sound. It takes more time
to come up with a complex set of cords or riffs then it takes to hit repeating
power cords.
The biggest insult a fan can do is bring up the fact that they cut their
hair. Any true fan would not care what a band looks like. The look may
be different but the sound is just as strong as ever. Let the eyes of the
beholder lay prey apon it's victim, and let the emotion flow.
