This is a picture of Shannon with her normally red hair dyed blue. Shannon's pretty much just like me: Giving out biting sarcasm is our favorite thing to do. So you really don't want to run into us on a bad day. We met at a Rush concert in Buffalo during the Counterparts tour while she was visiting family there. As she and I are really big Rush fans, we created the Rush Rules together and we follow them to the letter. Shannon is a big fan of garbage, and has her room split between Rush and garbage posters. She lives in NC, and by the fates I moved moved down to North Carolina within four months of meeting her. And now, five years later, we're still together. She is a finance major with a minor in english, she goes to school at UNC-Charlotte.

|
Vicky and Sarah are two friends from Elon. They are best friends and can often be found together. We tend to spend a lot of time together. We're not sure why, because they're both extremely outgoing and I'm a little on the introverted/social outcast side. I met Vicky in Calculus and she and I, along with Erin were a study group. Though they dropped the course, the wimps. We never really got much work done...but that really didn't matter. I met Sarah through Vicky and realized that Sarah lived in the same city I did, and a completely platonic relationship has gone from there. Vicky is currently spending a year in Australia, while Sarah has so much work to do I rarely see her. Oh well,
Now we all just hang around, watch movies, and chat on Instant Messanger. |

| This is my friend Shirley. I met her at Elon last year and we've become really great friends. So good that I spent five hours at the hospital with her when she mananged to put a nail through her hand. She has an interesting talent. Anytime I order a pizza, she will show up no more than ten minutes after it gets to my room. It's really weird, nobody can figure out how she does it and she won't tell. Anyway, she's a political science major and thinks she owns the world...of course any time she visits me I pop her bubble. Her favorite quote is "I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already." I don't know how this bit of inspiration fits in her scheme for world domination, but she lives by it. When I met Shirley, she had never heard of Rush.(How this can be always amazes me) But now that she spends most of her time around me, I've turned her into a big Rush fan and she's working on starting her collection of Rush cds. |

| This is Marnie, the self-proclaimed ruler of the galaxy. She's waiting for everyone to come around to her point of view. Between you and me...she'll be waiting for a while. Marnie is one of my best friends from Buffalo and she and I used to get in trouble all the time (ask about the Jell-o incident). I go back to Buffalo all the time and I always make time to see her because she's one of the coolest person that I know. And even though I don't live in Buffalo anymore, we still get into trouble together. She's a HUGE Rush fan and is the only person I know that has a collection of Rush stuff close to the size of my collection. She and I make it a point to get together and see Rush at least four times each tour. |

Tessa

Tessa's cool as hell. She goes to Elon, and is originally from Ohio. I met her through Shirley, and she's become one of my best friends. We hang out all the time and usually manage to get into some form of trouble in the process. Tessa is a double major in history and bullshitting. She's fond of saying that "two packs a day will keep the doctor away." I was like.... riiiight. She's the type of person who will tell you exactly what she feels and that usually leads to some very interesting circumstances.
Tessa, like myself, will listen to pretty much anything except for cRap and country. Though I have begun to get her into metal a bit. She's admitted that In Flames is good and she likes the band I'm in, but she's still not a huge fan of the heavier stuff.

Erin doesn't have a picture yet, but I'll still talk about her. Erin's really cool. We always hang out together and wait for the drunks to come and amuse us on the weekends. She isn't a big Rush fan, but she's still really cool, so I put her on the page. |
