Beyond The Last Gate
by The Five-Piece Band
It seems that the band of Eleanor McGuire doesn't want to bend in to the sadness. Even after the death of the former member (and Eleanor's husband ) James McAllen, in a car accident last year, the band decided to go on together. And the result is a record even better than In The Loving Memory Of Winston, their last album, released some months before James' death. Eleanor pays tribute to her husband in No Longer Seeking Heaven, when she talks about, again, the mysterious Winston Harrison - that was theme of the famous song. Some of the verses of this song are rather optimistic, even though she doens't deny the pain: All in all I know you are fine / in the hands of Warlock Winston / I miss you of course / but whos'to say how tomorrow will be? / maybe tomorrow, maybe the sorrow won't live too long on me.
If McGuire is in good shape, even after all, we can't say the same thing about Britty Willians. The multicoloured-haired bassist from the band is losing the magic of her hands - the gossip says it's result of a dependence in uppers.......
Eleanor torn the newspaper apart. All of a sudden the waves were crashing down over her head. After a quick stop into the troubles, they were coming after her again. But there wasn't no more James or Winston Harrison to back her up. To lean on to. She held her hands together and started to pray. Oh, damn it, God! I need help to survive! After all I've been thru, I just can't give up...but sometimes I feel like I should. Send me one angel, send me an answer!
