No Control

Billy: It's a Brett song and its said to be semi-autobiographical. It describes a person who became another wasted talent. Billy decided to sit around and do nothing but shoot up. He destroyed himself by succumbing to drugs. I believe that this song is an incredible endorsement for a drug-free life. I see people like Billy all the time, people who have talent of which I only dream. I also see them throw it away for alcohol and drugs, but they don't realize that because destructive substances like beer are socially accepted and encouraged. They lack self-discipline. Ironic how Mr. Brett wrote this and he is now in rehab. (Tim Paxton)

Change of Ideas: A song criticizing modern human mentality and urging a change of ideas.

You: It's a masterpiece. As near as I can figure, it's about how death is the only thing that can make people truly happy and able to peacefully coincide with each other. it also makes a point to swear off suicide at the end. (ratnut@hotmail.com)

I Wanna Conquer the World: It is my belief that this song critisizes some religions for force feeding you their religion whether you want to hear it or not. It also shows that no matter how much good that religions do in helping others they cannot relieve the temptation we face everyday. Scientist seem to know everything but how much can they really do for us? This song also makes fun of idealists and they're way of thinking they have the answer for everything. (David Avedisian)
