(Nov. 2001) Ann Boleyn (the singer) has a new band which she formed with some people from Rhino Bucket and Hellion. They are on tour in Japan. (See the above picture.)
(May 2, 2000) New Renaisance records will release a special compilation album June 14th including new and old Hellion and Ann Boleyn tracks. It will be the first time the singer has had new music available in a very long time. One of the songs is produced by Ronnie James Dio.
(April 14, 2000) According to New Renaissance Records, Hellion's classic album "Screams In The Night" (remember the "Bad Attitude" video on MTV?) on April 18th! This is an awesome album!
(August 24, 1999) We received an e-mail from Kenny who works for Ann Boleyn. Kenny informed us that Ann in working on the vocals for her new album. He named a couple of the song titles: REVENGE IS SWEET, WELCOME TO MY HUMBLE HOME, C-YA IN HELL, SHIT IS GONNA (HIT THE FAN). We thank him for the information!
(July 27 1999) Congratulations go to Ann Boleyn, who was voted #41 on the TOP WOMEN OF ROCK poll on VH1. Vh1 will be featuring the TOP WOMEN OF ROCK in a series of TV specials!
(June 1999) A few people e-mailed me to say that Ann Boleyn has been in the studio since February working on a new album which will probably come out under her name (instead of Hellion). I have not heard it and am not in contact with her or her management. But, a few people have told me that the new stuff sounds like a cross between Ozzy and Alice Cooper---but much heavier and more up to date. This should be interesting to hear!.
Also, Hellion has released a limited edition live CD (Picyured above) of an live show. The CD has a song on it which was never recorded on any album. Only 1,100 copies have been made, so this might take some effort if you want to snag one! However, I checked and they have it at Tower Records on-line website.
(Dec. 8, '98) A couple people e-mailed me to ask if Ann Boleyn is working with Ronnie James Dio again. Several people said Ann Boleyn is playing keyboards on a project that Dio is producing and that it isn't either Hellion or Dio! I don't have any more information.
Finally New Renaissance has just released UP FROM THE DEPTHS, a new CD which includes the Mini-LP, POSTCARDS FROM THE ASYLUM, and also a track that is really rare and was recorded in 1982. The first 3000 copies will be individually numbered. Since some of the new renaissance collectable titles are selling for as much as $100 each you should try to get your hands on one of these!
