In Celebration of JAG's 100th Episode, Paramount Network

Bellisario comments, ``When preparing for JAG's 100th episode I wanted to
film in a special location. Australia has been good
to me - JAG is extremely popular in this territory and my wife Vivienne is
from Woolgoolga, Australia. The 100th episode
celebration will start in Australia when we film in January and will
culminate in a party in Los Angeles on Monday, February
7th... the day before the episode airs. With the incredible success JAG has
enjoyed on CBS, we have a lot to celebrate.''

JAG Trivia... Here's some interesting info about Harm's call sign:Harm's call-sign, "Pappy", is rather a double homage.
First, it harks back to the early days of World War II,
when a maverick American fighter pilot, Gregory J. Boyington,
was assigned command of a squadron of rookie pilots, the
oldest of whom was nearly young enough to be his son.
During the early stages of their training, one of the pilots made a comment to another officer that they "were just
doing it the way Pappy taught 'em," in regard to some of their
unorthodox aerial combat maneuvers. The nickname stuck, and
"Pappy" Boyington went on to become one of the most highly
decorated air aces of that war.
From then on, it's been more or less a tradition in the
Navy, Air Force, and Marines (the three services which have
use for fighter pilots) that any pilot coming into a unit where
the rest of the pilots are significantly younger than he is, gets
dubbed "Pappy", by the rest of the pilots.
Thus, Harm didn't choose his call-sign. It was handed
to him by his unit when they found out his age. Remember that
Harm's been out of flying for several years. Thus, he's probably
at least 6 or 7 years older than any man in his unit - with the
probable exception of the CAG, whose rank precludes his getting
that monicker pinned on him. (Thanks Jevex for this info!)(posted 9/30/99)

A: Bell, 30, has spoken English and Farsi from childhood, since her late father was British and her mother is Iranian. But that's not all.
