Sexy Oz is a member of a band called Dingoes Ate My Baby (and yes, I know how horrible that sounds--I doubt that dingoes actually eat children)(often). He's used as the band's transport, as he owns a funky little van that helps the Slayerettes get around as well. Anyway, he was introduced as a recurring character in the second series and he was so popular that he became a regular. He had a crush on Willow for a while, and despite some minor interruptions by Xander, they've pretty much had a relationship all season (these girls are so lucky, aren't they?) He's got a dry sense of humour and is cool and calm under pressure. He's already out of school, but he recently returned to repeat 12th grade, banking on Willow finding it "cute". It didn't work. He's a werewolf, and his lycanthropic tendencies come three nights a month--for the full moon and the two nights around it. This was the reason that he temporarily had to leave Willow--he wanted to learn how to control his wolfiness. His animal-like behaviour and strange attraction to other werewolves led him to cheat on Willow w/ Veruca, a female werewolf. He came back to the show later in season 4 to reveal that he had indeed found the secret to being not-wolf-boy on full moon nights when a bombshell was dropped on him--his beloved Willow is a lesbian! So he left again, realising that the best thing for her would be bye-bye Oz. The female viewing population wept. Or at least I did. |
