Tobago is surrounded by golden beaches, many of them quite deserted. Beaches on the Atlantic side enjoy some surf, while those on the Caribbean side of the Island face calm waters. A few beaches on the south of the island are groomed and fully serviced for the tourist. The remainder are completely untouched, save for fishermen from the nearby village hauling their seine and a few local children taking a dip after the heat of the day. Remember that the climate is tropical, so don't forget the sun screen!
