First, do not expect extensive shopping or a wild nightlife! Come to Tobago to relax, and enjoy the people and the sheer beauty of the Island.

Beautiful palm and coconut lined beaches surround the island, providing excellent sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling.

The world's oldest fully protected rainforest covers the hilly interior of the island, providing excellent bird watching and nature trails.

The island is ringed with old forts in various states of preservation, belying a tumultuous past as it changed hands many times between the European powers. Amateur archaeologists will have a splendid time tracing the remains of old Plantation houses and sugar mills.

Scuba diving has become very popular with several excellent dive sites surrounding the island, particularly at the north and south ends. Drift dives predominate, with coral and Manta Rays being among the prime attractions.

Tobago now boasts a moderate number of very good restaurants serving local specialities, as well as European cuisine.` A number of hotels offer lunches and dinners, or just afternoon tea in the most civilized of surroundings.

Mount Irvine Golf Course lies between the house and the sea. Owned by Mount Irvine Hotel, it is open to the public.

Car and Jeep rentals are readily available on the island. We are also pleased to arrange tours around the island and to points of interest with local operators.
