A Turning Point

Fear of being a 75-year old woman
rocking in the bathroom corner drove me to a therapist.
She happened to be a great one and guided me into sanity.
I was very surprised when I got my first flashback.
And with each tell tale, I was in even more shock
of what I had gone though at such a young age.
It was a lot of work and there were times I thought it was all hopeless.
But I learned that you Have to look back in order to heal.
You have to face your demons;
you must feel the pains again in order to tell them it is over.
You have to get brave and keep it up till they have all run off.
Then you are left with, who am I?
And it is wonderful to the adventure of finding out.
