Never Mind the Buzzcocks: A good TV show and, as it turns out, a very good book. It's made up mostly of transcripts of moments of the show which are sometimes laugh out loud funny as well as bits made for the book, like Mark Lamarr's Stars Of The 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, a day in the life of Robbie Williams and so on.

The CD on the other hand is a bit of a disappointment, sadly. It features clips of the Intro's round of the show which is great first time round, but it's hardly 'allows you to play Never Mind The Buzzcocks from the comfort of your own living room'. It's about 22 minutes long with Mark's jokes in between songs.

Verdict: 6/10 - The book is lovely, the CD a bit dull. If you want a good book/CD combination, go for Shooting Stars instead.

Never Rewind The Buzzcocks is a specially recorded for video version of the musical comedy quiz starring usual suspects Mark Lamarr, Phill Jupitus and Shaun Hughes with special guests Jonathan Ross, Sarah Cracknell (St Ettienne), Noddy Holder (Slade) and Matt Priest (Dodgy).

All the usual rounds are there and it's as funny as ever, especially Jonathon Ross shutting up (look out for this!) and several rounds set in a hotel room. Obviously, I don't want to give away too much otherwise there would be little point in buying the video, but this comes recommended.

Verdict: 8/10
