GETTING CLOUD

This page contains instructions regarding the process to get Cloud from Final Fantasy 7.

First, you must have already beaten your brother Dycedarg in Chapter 4.

Make sure that Mustadio, the Engineer, is still in your group.

Make sure that you have bought a flower from the flower girl in Zarghidas Trade City.

Go to the Bar in Zeltennia Castle.

Listen to the rumor of the "CURSED ISLAND."

Go to Goug Machine City and watch the scene.

Go to the bar in Goland Coal City, and listen to the rumor of "GHOST OF COLLIERY."

Go to Lesalia Imperial Capitol, and you will enter a scene at the bar.

After talking to Beowulf, let him join your party.

Return to Goland, and complete the four fights. These fights are extremely easy, especially if you are using Orlandu.

Allow Reis, the Holy Dragon, to join your party.

Return to Goug Machine City, and watch another scene. I would reccommend admitting the steel giant to your party.

Now you may enter Nelveska Temple, and fight the second Steel Giant. After the fight, watch the scene, and let Reis join you as a human.

Once again, you must return to Goug and watch another scene. You will summon Cloud, and he runs away.

Go to Zarghidas, and protect Cloud from the thieves. After the battle, he will join you!

Now that you have Cloud, there are still two problems. First, he has no weapon. Go to Bervenia Volcano, and equip the Chemist's Move-Find ability. At the highest point, you will obtain the Materia Blade, Cloud's weapon.

With a Weapon, Cloud is still at a disadvantage, because he starts at Level 1! Live with it, because every attack he makes gives him over 50 EXP at the beginning! Stay in the back, and attack your own party. Cloud will live, and gain a lot of experience. Also, each attack to your party only causes about 50 damage. Now you can use Cloud and all of his limit breaks, plus one new limit break. Have Fun!
