Types of Balls

Poke Ball: You catch Pokemon with this item.
Cost: 200
Great Ball: Performs better than a Poke Ball
Cost: 600
Ultra Ball: Performs even better than a Great Ball.
Cost: 1200
Master Ball: Capture any Pokemon 100% of the time.
Cost: Priceless, you must find it.
Safari Ball: You have to use these in Safari Zone to catch Pokemon.
Cost: 500 (Including admission to Safari Zone)

Stones and Fossils

Fire Stone:Use this stone to evolve certain Fire Pokemon.
Cost: 2,100
Thunder Stone:
Use this stone to evolve certain Electric Pokemon.
Cost: 2,100
Water Stone:
Use this to evolve certain Water Pokemon.
Cost: 2,100
Leaf Stone:
Use this to evolve certain Plant/Leaf Pokemon.
Cost: 2,100
Moon Stone:
Use this to evolve Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Nidorina, or Nidorino.
Helix Fossil:
Give this to the Pokemon researcher/scientist at the Cinnabar Island Lab to get an Omanyte.
Dome Fossil:
Give this to the Pokemon researcher/scientist at the Cinnabar Island Lab to get a Kabuto.
Old Amber:
Give this to the Pokemon researcher/scientist at the Cinnabar Island Lab to get an Aerodactyl.

Recovery Items

Antidote:Heals a Pokemon from poison.
Cost: 100
Burn Heal:
Heals a Pokemon from burn.
Cost: 250
Ice Heal:
Heals a Pokemon from Ice/Freeze.
Cost: 250
Awakening:
Awaken a sleeping Pokemon.
Cost: 200
Parlyz Heal:
Heals a Pokemon from Parlyz.
Cost: 200
Full Heal:
Heals a Pokemon for all the above.

Full Restore:
Does the same as Full Heal plus restores all HP of your Pokemon.

Potion:
Heals some HP of a Pokemon.

Super Potion:
Heals even more of HP of a Pokemon than a Potion.

Hyper Potion:
Heals a Pokemon's HP a lot.

Max Potion:
Fully heals a Pokemon's HP.
Cost: 2,500
Ether:Restores some of a Pokemon's PP of One Move.
Cost: Not Available in Stores
Max Ether:
Fully restores a Pokemon's PP of One Move.

Elixer:
Restores a Pokemon's PP of all moves some.
Cost: Not Available in Stores
Max Elixer:
Fully restores a Pokemon's PP of all moves.

Revive:
Revives a fainted Pokemon and restores some HP.
Cost: Not Available in Stores
Max Revive:
Brings back a fainted Pokemon to fight and heals HP fully.

Nugget:
Sell this to a mart or someone somewhere to receive 5000 yen.
Gold Teeth:
You can find these in Safari Zone. Give them to the warden of Fuschia City and he'll gladly reward you.
S.S. Anne Ticket:
Bill will give this to you after you turn him back to a human. Use it to get aboard the ship the S.S. Anne.
Poke Doll:
Use this to distract your enemies so you can run away easily.
Cost: 1000
Silph Scope:
Find this at the Team Rocket Underground HQ in the Celadon Game Corner. It will allow you to identify wild ghost pokemon for example the gastlys and haunters in Pokemon Tower.
Poke Flute:
Will awaken any sleeping Pokemon if played.
Old Rod:
Will catch some of the weaker water Pokemon if you go fishin with it.
Good Rod:
Will catch better water Pokemon than the Old Rod.
Super Rod:
Will catch the best types of water Pokemon. It's better than the old rod and the good rod.
Itemfinder:
Use this to locate items near you.
Experience All:
In a battle all of your Pokemon will get Experience even if they didn't contribute to it. But it will split up the Experience points so each Pokemon gets less than what just one Pokemon without Experience All would get.
Coins:
Use these to play the Slot Machines at Celadon Game Corner and trade them in for TMs and Pokemon.
Cost: 1,000 for 50 coins
Coin Case:
You'll have to get this from someone at the diner before getting or using your coins.
Fresh Water:
Restores some HP. Also refreshes thirsty people's desire for a drink.
Cost: 200
Soda Pop:
Restores more HP than Fresh Water. Also refreshes thirsty people's desire for a drink.
Cost: 300
Lemonade:
Restores more HP than Fresh Water and Soda Pop. Also refreshes thirsty people's desire for a drink.
