I have always loved the games by Activision. I believe that Activision games are best games in the 2600's library. It was these games that drew me back to the 2600 in 1989. I wanted to play Kaboom! and Pitfall! again after a lapse of many years. I wanted to own these games again. It was a neat feeling once I had reacquired all of the Activision games I had once owned years ago but had sold during a yard sale in 1983. What intrigued me even more was to get all of the Activision games for the 2600, including Pressure Cooker, Private Eye, Dolphin, Frostbite, and the others that I had never even seen before. It took me a few months and a dent in my wallet, but I got the entire Activision collection for the 2600. I wanted more. Andy Floyd sent me copies of Activisions, the newsletter that Activision had published. I soon began to collect the high score patches that Activision issued. I became an Actimite, a term for a Activision fan dubbed by Andy. I'm still a big fan today, and will be spotlighting the games over the next few issues.
