Final Fantasy Games I Like!

Oh there are just too many...

Final Fantasy III (6j)
Unlike the other FF games or FF7 where you have to have Cloud with you at all times FF3 isn't like that. Although it makes you beleive that Terra is the main character there really isn't any main character. There is an evil man in the world Kefka who plans on world conquest using magical creatures called Espers. Once these Espers die their bodies turn into magical crystals called magicite. When you hold this magicite you too get magical powers. It works just like Materia, well mostly. Kefka find this out and kills most of the Espers so he can gain power. Terra being half human and half Esper is ver strange and Kefka wants her for his magic army! Well I can't spoil it for you but this is a great game. One more thing though I love how the story line makes you think that Gastal is the villian of the game. But in the end it turns out to be Kefka!

This is my favorite FF game and my favorite game in general. This was my first RPG/FF game I was introduced too. It all started when I moved away and then I came back to visit my best friend in my old town. Well he said he found this really cool game. So we played it and I got hooked. The whole mystery of it as the story unfolded before my eyes. It was so cool to feel what the characters were feeling. To be in the game, to become attached to these and use them in your party and the others could wait. I had never experienced a game like this I thought all games were like Mega Man or Mortal Combat I never dreamed there was anything like this.

So to make it short I was hooked. My favorite character because Terra (of course!). My friend could understand it because his favorite was Sabin. I don't know there was just something about Terra that intrigued me. The whole fact that she is half human and half esper. Confused about her past and I loved to watch it unravel and see into her character more. Then I once she realized everything, oh happy day!! She could do her personal move, morph. Also I had my other fav too, Mog (Yeah moogles!), Edgar, Locke (come one who doesn't like Locke?). In FF3 every character has their personal moves much like the limit breaks in FF7. Well with morph she could morph into her esper form and kick butt! I became so proud of Terra! Then I had to go back home....

I went intro withdrawls!! I needed to see how the story ended!! So after long searching I found a place I could rent it. I pleaded them to sell it to me but no luck. And everytime I would rent it someone would rent it and finish the game so I had to start all over. Then inspriation! I got my friend to give it to me for a while. I finsihed it I found every secret and then I still played it!! Then I had to give it back. Felt really sad again and I couldn't even find it anywhere. They stopped renting games at the place and I never found out what happened to it. So now I don't own it and I still search for a game to replace it. Nearly all of my games are Square made.

Final Fantasy II (?j)
I also enjoyed this FF game very much. It took me a while but I realized that if there was a FF3 there must be at least two more! So I searched around a found a friend who lived in the same state that owned FF2. Well can I borrow it. Sure!

Now it has been a long time since I played so if I make a mistake in the story tell me okay? Also I do'nt remember most of the names either. But I will tell you one thing the dragon night I loved him. He kept switching sides so you never really new if he was good of bad. I got all the way to the end but could never pass it. One thing I didn't like is that you were stuck with the same characters unlike in FF3 where you had a wide varity.

Final Fantasy Tactics
What a cool game! I love it! And I actually own this one!! FFT is unlike any RPG I have ever played. Instead of focusing on moving from place to place it is more focused on battels. With a 3D eviroment it is a very intense game of chess. To put it mildly. Now I can't spoil too much of it and I can't say that much either because I am only half way through it. But you are Ramaz and he is a half brother to the Roal Famialy. The Church is taking over in power and they are using the Zodiac Stones to take control. The Zodiac Stones are religious symbols but hold a mysterious power. So you are on a journy to expose what the Church is doing and stop your brother from using the Zodiac Stones for his own use. Oh and Cloud is in the game. Yes Cloud is a fully playable character in the game. It is so cool! I am about 3 battles away from getting him! I recommend this game for those who are looking for a different kind of RPG.

Things we will see in every FF game
There are some things that will always be in every FF game from here until forever!
1) There will be chocobos.
2) There will be Airships.
3) There will be someone named Cid.
4) There will be some kind of love story.
