Souryuu Asuka Langley, 14 years old, is a genious. Finished college at the age of 14 and 
spend time with a group of children that can also controll the giant robots know as Eva. Often reffer as "Second Child" or "Second Children". HER Eva-02, is the red eva. Along with Shinji and Rei, she battle the Angles and saves the world. Very confident in her own skill as an Eva pilot, but suffered an very unfortunate ending when she has an compete mental breakdown before she dies. Her mother died when she is very young and other harsh incidents caused she developed an very hard shell to hide the scars that she suffered as a child. Often seem reckless and hothead, but still, she's positive and self-confident.
Depiste all the people out there who says Asuka is annoying or loud mouth blah blah blah... I'm telling you, she is absolutely great! This young woman has her share of hardship to get where she is today, just becuse Rei is so mysterious she get's all the attention. Even the people of Animerica says she is wonderful, and they are pros!
