To all you Kurama lovers out there ( and I know there is quite a lot of you since I'm one myself ^-^), this is another guy for you. Tatara-sama is a lot like Kurama in a lot of ways. But if you want a comparism, go somewhere else, this shrine to dedicated to Tatara-sama ONLY.

Tatara-sama, despite his young look, is over 110 years old, his body is kept young so it is easier to protect something very important. Tatara's power to the control over plants, he used them to fight and store the Shinzaho. That way if anyone kills him, the Shinzaho will be lost because no one else will be able to control that plant. Tatara has very long hair that come down to his knees and is tied in the same way Tamahome has his in the beginning. Tatara is a Byakko seishi, that of the west. The reason he is protecting the Shinzaho because it belong to his lover, Byakko no Miko, Suzuno. They were seperated because Byakko can not grant them the wish to be together but they promise to die at the same time to be reunited, and it did happen after they both waited for 90 years.
