Your probably wondering how a dog this size got the name Muffin.
Well I was only in the 3rd grade and I was looking at her
markings while name picking.

She was dumped as a wee pup,, my mom happened to be
cruising a long to work that night and picked her up.
Someone sure threw away a great package.

My mystery dog was 10 or 11 years old,, and was developing
some bad hip problems. She was given a gentle
little nudge towards the Rainbow Bridge.

The Full Story Of Muffin Okay,, so I dont have the most interesting or heroic story to tell about my dog, but here goes... My mom was working night shift when I was in the 3rd grade an one particular night she was on her way to work she almost hit a dog in the road. She waited for the dog to get out of the way an then started to drive off,, but the dog started running after the car an my mom couldnt handle that so she stopped the car,, opened the door an let the dog in,, an turned around an came back home with her. Two full months had gone by an no one put out any flyers, or anything in the news papers about a missing dog,, so we figured she dumped like garbage. An we began to think of names for her. I just looked at her coat patterns an all of a sudden blurted out Muffin,, an it just kind of stuck from there. You could tell she was a pup yet,, cuz she was awful klutzy an was still quite curious over the little things in life. As she grew we learned new things about her. She LOVED the water an was a total riot to watch,, you couldnt help but laugh at her when she tried to bite the water coming out of the sprinklers. She had the same affect with snow, jumping up in the air trying to catch snow flakes as they fell. An she could shed like you woulndt believe,, white hair everywhere!!She also fetch anything that you threw, from dog toys,, Coke-Cola cans,, frisbees,, snow balls,, to yes...even rocks. She was a ready to please dog,, even if she didnt know what you were talking about she would give it her best try anyway. But as she aged she got slower an slower an started developing hip problems(whats known as hip dysplasia)at first she didnt let it get her down,, but it took its tool an in her own way,, asked us to do something about it. She asked us by not walking up to the mail with me, instead she just drooped her head as if to say its my time to go now... Best Memories of her: ~When she attacked the sprinklers,, trying to bite the water. When she played in the snow, her whole face an head would do a disappearing act while she buried her self in the snow. When she used to jump as high as she could trying to see over the very tall grass up in the felid,, an trying to catch them snow flakes as they fell. When she played ball,, if she didnt trip over a smaller dog in front of her,, it would have been her own feet. When she tried to keep up with us on the three wheelers,, barking her head off when she feel behind.~ Likes an dislikes: Muffins Likes: Food, Playing in water,, Drinking water, Rolling an playing in the snow,, Chasing deers with the other dogs. Pleasing her pack memembers. Muffins Dislikes: Aggressive behavior in other dogs,, Getting her picture taken,, Strangers.
