The group CONTRATIEMPO is a new, joung, innovative and current proposal
of theater and flamenco. Two are their biggest contributions to flamenco:
HUMOR and and show thought and made for CHILDREN.
It was formed by four women, that are at the same time creators and
performers, with a good background and richfull professional experience
These creators center their work inventing
a whole new languaje of spanish dance. They are, thus,
pioneers in this new way of thinking of Flamenco.
Their biggest achievement is the fusion of flamenco with theatre,
pantomime, and comedy. Their different creations get through to
all types of public: both knowledgeable and novice, both adults
and childrens, both purists and avant-garde ... all agreeing on
the quality, originaly and peculiarity of their shows.
