Her love for the theater introduced her into the world of Flamenco and
its new roads. Until the birth of CONTRATIEMPO her profesional
experience makes her join the company of Sara Lezana, Rafael Aguilar, Ballet Camborio,
as solo dancer.
Her disposition for the theater brought her to being chosen by Albert Boadella, director of the company "ELS JOGLARS", for the creation and interpretation of his play "A man in America", making the coreography of the dancing spaces of this play, with which he travelled all through Spain, SouthAmerica, Europe... Her professional activity is completed with a pedagogic aproach of Flamenco to the kid's world.
She forms as professional dancer in Madrid under the supervision of
the great masters (Mariemma, Guito, Ciro...), obtaining the academic
title by the High School of Dramatic Art and Dance of that city.
In her work as dancer she joins several groups: "Compañia
de Danza Española de Luisillo", "Rafael
Aguilar", "Blanca del Rey", among others. Since the
birth of CONTRATIEMPO she both works as coreographer and
investigation and as a dancer in other companies, as well as several
"tablaos" (México, Washington DC, Madrid...).
She stands out in his work with the company of Antonio Gades, doing tours with the plays of "Bodas de Sangre", "Carmen" and "Fuenteovejuna" all around the world (Indonesia, Cuba, Japan, London, Turkey...).

She starts her professional activities with an intense pedagogic work
in the field of clasic ballet in the Dance Professional School of
Albacete.
Soon her "inquietudes y afan de busqueda" take her to Madrid to take
charge of the coreography in the play "Anfitrión",
premiered in the Anfiteatro de Mérida under de direction of
Juan Pedro de Aguilar. She also works as solo dancer in the companies
of Luisillo, Rafael Aguilar
("Rango"", Yerma", "Carmen"...), in the
great theaters of China, Italy, France, Spain... She participates in the
"Homenaje
a Antornia Mercé", La Argentina, in the Madrid's
theater Maria Guerrero, under the direction of Mariemma.
After then she centers her professional activities in the creation of CONTRATIEMPO, "alternandolo" with her work as teacher and invited artist in several study centers both in Spain (Madrid, Valladolid, Murcia...), and in foreing countries (Milan, Bolonia, Florence, Osaka, Tokio...). "Cabe destacar" her work in the play "Torero" of Antonio Canales as the woman of the bullfighter, with "representaciones" in Montevideo, Madrid, Marsella, Cuopio... as well as in the play recorded for spanish television. She also works with the plays of "Carmen" and "Fuenteovejuna" in Antonio Gades' Company. |
After achieving her degree in Spanish and Clasic Dance by the High
School of Dramatic Dance and Art of Murcia, she moves to Madrid to
finish her studies with the great masters (Mariemma,
Pedro Azorín, Merche Esmeralda, Carmina Ocaña...),
working also as teacher at the Coreographic Center of Mariemma.
As a profesional she works as solo dancer in the companies of Luisillo, Rafael Aguilar (Sister in the play "Rango"), Mariemma's Ballet (Homenaje a Antonia Mercé, La Argentina). She plays the "personaje" of Creuza in the play "Medea" of master Granero, with the Ballet de la Región de Murcia and under the direction of Merche Esmeralda, with great success all across Spain, Brasil, Colombia... She also acts as the bullfighter's mother in the play Torero, of Antonio Canales, through the great theaters of Montevideo, Marsella,Córdoba, Madrid..., working also in the recording of the play for spanish television. With the creation of CONTRATIEMPO she finds her own way of investigation and personal creation that keeps "alternando" with work in other companies, such is the case of the Teatro de la Danza de Madrid in the play "La Zapatera Prodigiosa" of Lorca, under the direction of Luis Olmas. Her coreographic and theater "tendencia" lead her to be director's coreographic assistant in the opera "Goyescas" with Mariemma and in Moliére's play "El enfermo imaginario" with the company Teatro de la Danza de Madrid. |
