I was born and raised in Austin TX.  Yes, I still live in Austin.  I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
The order of my family goes like this:
Benancio (dad), Agapita (mom), Benny, Victor, Mercedes, Hector, Marie, Teresita, Marianita, and Jose (me).
 

As I was growing up, I attended 5 different schools:
Becker Elementary , (K-5th grade school)
Travis Heights Elem. , (all 6th grade school.)
Fulmore M.S , (7th-8th grade school.)
AND I GRADUATED IN 1986 FROM:
 Wm. B. Travis High School , (9th-12th grade school)

I attended and graduated from  St. Edward's University  in December, 1991 with a B.A. in Secondary Education
I majored in Health Recreation and Sports Management and minored in Business. I ran cross country for the Mighty Hilltoppers.  We won district 4 years in a row and got the chance to run at the NAIA national meet at The University of Wisconsin Parkside.

After graduation, I accepted a teaching position with A.I.S.D..  From 1992-1997, I taught  at   S.F. Austin High School .  I taught Microcomputer applications, Accoutning, Typing, and Ballet Folklorico.  I coached Grils Track, Freshman Track,and Cross Country.  The boys varsity cross country won district for the first time in many years.  I also directed and taught the
Austin High Ballet Folklorico from 1993-1997.  In addition to dierecting the Austin High Ballet Folklorico, I had the pleasure of Dancing with  Bailes Folklorico del Sur  for 10 years, a group started by my mother, and woth Roy Lozano's Ballet Folklorico de Tejas since January 1998.
 
This year, 1998, I am going to school to be certified as a massage therapist and  working at IBM as a contractor.
Next school year, 1998-1999, I will be teaching Computer Applications at Eagle Pass high School (CC Winn Campus).
It will be their 11th-12th grade center.  I will also be directing the Eagle Pass Ballet Folklorico.  I am looking forward to this.

Other leisure activities I have been involved in include Tennis, Volleyball, basketball, swimming, running, biking,

I met the love of my life, Sarah Dutton, playing volleyball.  As well as a lot of my other good friends.
