Why You Should Attend

Managers would increasingly need to understand the financial aspects of running a business, particularly as companies regionalise. You can be a more effective manager if you can demand the right information from the financial people in your company. It can be a serious handicap if you remain financially illiterate.

This course, through its unique instructional approach, aims to fill in the gaps in your knowledge, effectively and in a manner which relates what you learn to your daily operations.

Methodology

Learning is reinforced by case studies, enlivened by role-play. The small size ensures that everyone actively participates. Participants thus get a hands-on simulaton of how to actually interpret available data to analyze their operations, identify causes for variances and take corrective measures.

Designed For

All managers without formal financial training. These workshops are of particular relevance to executives struggling to maintain their competitive edge or involved in regional projects.

Attendance is limited to 12 participants. Participants are recommended to attend both workshops to secure maximum benefit.

Advance Preparation

Pre-seminar reading materials consisting of 2 glossareis, one on Accounting Language and the other on Budgeting Language will be despatched one week prior to the Seminar so as to familiarise participants with accounting terminology.
