Date: 9th November 1997 Hurts so good-But feels so naughty!![]() Kay came over on Friday (7/11/97) after work. Hubby came home early, but needed to go back to do major operating system upgrade on his department's file and application UNIX server (wow...what a task). Kay drove him back to work, so he gave her a tour of his department. I was on the phone and was incommunicado for a couple of hours, so this arrangement worked out well. Apparantly, hubby didn't introduce Kay to some of his inquisitive workmates, so some of them who had never met me, were under the impression that she was his wife (namely me). Kay looks nothing like me. Hubby set them straight, very quickly..but Kay thought it funny. Kay stated that she'd never seen anyone enjoy work as much as Hubby. She is right. Hubby loves his work and takes great pride in his work. Kay came back home (to my house) and she was so sweet, patiently waiting for me to get off the phone. When I did, we had a talk on my couch, then Hubby rang for us to pick him up (8:45pm). We got pizza for dinner. I have had so much pizza (which is not my favourite food, not by a long shot) in the last week that I close my eyes at night and see pizza's floating infront of my face..well not really...but it seems that way! Videos - Beavis and Butthead (there are only 4 tapes..so you can imagine how many times we have seen each one) and Jerry Mcguire. They were both too tired to watch Jerry M. We all went to bed, they fell asleep shortly thereafter... I read for 2 hours before I could even think about closing my eyes from sheer exhaustion...I had so many vivid, fantastical, wild and uninhibited images flashing through my head..winding me up like a toy doll..no wonder I was finding it difficult to catch some shut-eye. I don't think it was my reading material either! My high started earlier on in the day and kept me in a high for the entire weekend. The good thing was that it wasn't any illicit drug or vice that caused it. There is more, but lost train of thought. Happy Birthday to my Mother-in-law, who not only
celebrates her 61st Birthday, but also retires today. After working for 36 years in the Pharmacy
(Father-in-law opened pharmacy in 1956), its good that they called it quits and closed shop.
Wishing them both luck for their endevours in the future. [PREVIOUS] [TODAY'S] [NEXT] [ARCHIVE] [HOME] ![]() ![]() ![]() |
