The Roof Saga Continues...

The tradesman still hasn't come back to finish off the job. I have had two quotes from painters, to fix the damage that they caused. I have also called another reputable roofing company to come and give me a quote to fix up what the last mob did to my roof. I was told by an independent amatuer roofing person, that we were overcharged for the job they did. Luckily I have not paid them yet, perhaps we can work something out. I rang the manager and told him that the painters he'd asked to come and give a quote on their companies behalf, had not rung to make a time with me. I was in two minds whether I should ring him and let him know this, as why should I care about wether he get's quotes or not? If they don't get quotes (and they had every oppurtunity), then they will just have to except mine. Tough Shit for them, if they don't like it...

I just got off the phone with my sis'-in-law and my nephew is 1 month old today. She's breastfeeding him ('Asher'), but he has a lot of wind/colic, causing discomfort, thereby causing him to cry. She carries him around all day, so that he doesn't cry. My other nephew is 6 years old today. I can't believe how time flies. I remember when he was born, it seems like yesterday. When I rang to wish him a happy birthday, he said "Thank you for the dog game.Bye!" Next thing I know I was speaking to my sister- in -law's husband. This Kid, (how I hate to say this), is the most obnoxious and nasty child I know, or have ever met. I love him, because his my nephew, but I don't really feel close to him. I just hope when I have children, they behave better.

I just had a little hiatus, as the phone has not stopped ringing. I've even forgotten who was the first person to call.

Before I go, I went to see 'Mr Bean'. I am a Bean fan and though this movie was quite funny. My sister's husband is exactly like him (except with a nicer personality). Imagine living with someone like that! My favorite scene was when he splashed water on himself (near his crotch) and he starts drying it under a hand drier. He looked like he was 'doing' the hair drier. I plutzed (laughed hysterically until my sides burst) myself silly. So did my dad (we treated him to the movie) who was doubled over in pain from laughing so hard. The whole movie was quite enjoyable.

Till tomorrow, I bid you adieu...
