Christi & Mel's Photo Album

These are some of the photos from our wedding. Because of our 1930s theme, most of our photos were taken in black and white, and a couple were taken with infrared film. I'll work on getting more pictures up soon.

Updates!

Well, it's been almost a year and I'm just now getting to the updates on how the wedding went! Where to begin?

I guess I'll start with the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. I had a job interview at noon the day of the rehearsal (it was for the job I have now) so I was already a little stressed. My mom, sisters, and I spent most of the afternoon stringing up beads for my headpiece and then it was time for the rehearsal. The rehearsal went fine, and the dinner was just at Pizza Hut (I had left the rehearsal dinner entirely up to Mel's mom - it wasn't worth fighting over). I said good bye to Mel at my mom's house. It was so wierd not going home with him! Then back to stringing beads! I went to bed around midnight and my mom stayed up working on it. We didn't finish my headpiece until about an hour before I had to be at the church!

I got up around 8 am the day of my wedding and was off to have my hair done. My sisters joined me there a little later. We got back to my mom's around 11:30 am, just in time to grab a quick bite to eat and then it was off to the church. It took me all of ten minutes to get dressed and do my makeup and then I got to sit around and wait for the photographer to do the guys pictures. Mel and I had decided not to see each other the day of the wedding.

I'll be adding to this whenever I get a chance. Check back for the continuing saga.
