As you carefully step down from the back of the green dragon that has brought you to Aden Weyr, you are met immediately by a young girl. "I'm Mirgan, an asst. recordkeeper here at Aden, also a greenrider" she says with a slight smile. "There are many things to do here!"
"You might want to apply to be a rider by visiting Weyrwoman Bretta. Go see her to visit the sands, or you might want to see a list of who has Impressed here so you may visit them, if you wish.
If your dragon is ready to rise, please report it to your wingleader. You can find the wingleaders' weyrs down that hall. Or, if you are looking for other candidate openings at other Weyrs, Dawnsisters Weyr's Recordkeeper, maintains a valuable list of open candidate positions that is updated regularally.
Gren takes care of the firelizards eggs, you may go see him and find out if we have any firelizard eggs you might want to Impress. Although if you've already Impressed and registered a firelizard, see if it's on the list of Impressed firelizards and if it is, you can pick up the flit's Official Impression papers. Or you might want to see if we have any current contests you might want to enter! He also is in charge of the contests too.
Assistant Danis of our mother weyr, Jerdan Weyr, maintains their wonderful Store Room, you should visit her to get riding supplies if you are considering Impressing. She's a wonderful lady. Also, we've currently helped other Weyrs in their renovations and we encourage you to visit them! The first we helped out was Istabitha's Weyr, the second was Aneris Weyr, and the third was Wu Weyr. I'm sure they'd love it if you visited them! If you like to have a renovation at your Weyr, you just need to let Weyrwoman Bretta know!
Although, if you have Impressed and you see your dragon has a tendancy for finding candidates, we've opened a SearchRider Hall. But, regretably, it is currently down for renovations. We've also opened three guilds: one for goldriders, one for bronzeriders and one for aspiring writers. Weyrwoman Bretta keeps tabs on them and has announced they are currently down. Sorry!
