We are a small hobby show breeder with having litters maybe once a year. Our dogs are accomplished show dogs as well as our family's companions. When we do breed, we reserach pedigrees prior to ensure health and longetivity since we only breed for a purpose not just to produce more puppies. We choose "breeding" pairs based on their proven accomplishments in the show ring, temperment, titles, pedigree, and Hip OFA Certifications. We will not breed dogs who have are not competive in the show ring nor dogs that are not xrayed since we feel that OFA Certification, Temperment, and Titles are important factors in breeding. Due to our belief that the German Shepherd breed is a very family oriented breed we feel early socialization is an important factor in raising a sound German Shepherd. Our puppies are raised in our home with our two children and are exposed to variety of sounds and people prior to leaving home. The best medical, food, and attention is given also to ensure that the pups leave us sound and healthy. A 2-year Written Guarantee is given on all pups against Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, and Temperment.
If interested in purchasing a pup from us, please understand we have a policy of interviewing homes prior to commiting to selling them a puppy. We expect our pups to be raised in a loving home enviornment, not to be bred (unless you yourself have studied lines and are willing to title your dog prior to breeding),and receive daily family interaction. All "pet" pups are sold on Limited Registration on a Spay/Neuter contract. Owners are asked to be willing to take Puppy Kindergarten and a Basic Obedience Class due to the high intelligence of this breed.
