![]() 1. Are you going to school this year? Not unless I come into enough money to pay for further education, or if someone pays for me to go back to school. I already have enough student loans to pay off, thank you. 2. If yes, where are you going (high school, college, etc.)? If no, when did you graduate? High school graduation was way back in 1981, but, after going back to school years later, Finger Lakes Community College's graduation was in 1996, and St. John Fisher College's was in 1999. 3. What are/were your favorite school subjects? English, Auditing, Cost Accounting, Accounting Principles, Psychology, Sociology, Marketing, Business Ethics, Statistics, Internet Resources, ... 4. What are/were your least favorite school subjects? I ended up hating Biology, because the adjunct professor was a male chauvenist pig and very opinionated. (It is difficult to learn anything from someone you don't respect.) I had two semesters of biology with him. and I dreaded every class. 5. Have you ever had a favorite teacher? Why was he/she a favorite? John Bartholmes and John Sinton stand out as favorites because they were effective teachers, yet personable. There were others but I can't recall their names at the moment. Belated birthday wishes to Stephanie and Linda. I intended to send birthday wishes on Wednesday, and there's no excuse for my absent-mindedness except maybe because I'm getting older. (sigh) I'm not a grandmother yet. The doctor is guessing another week. If the baby doesn't come by then, they might induce. (Maybe on Grandparent's Day??????????) An ultrasound is scheduled for mid week, so we may know if the baby is a boy or a girl sooner than expected. (The last ultrasound was inconclusive, since the baby's hand was in the way.) john got good news this week. He's starting a contract job in a couple of weeks back where he was last year. This is a 6 month contract, and I'm hoping it turns into something permanent. This weekend, I'll probably be over to helping Ashley and Kevin put up a wallpaper border. I've never done it before, so this should be an experience. I was considering having a yard sale tomorrow, but the lawn is still too soaked from the downpours. I might give up the yard sale idea, and just donate everything to charity. I have odds and ends of craft supplies, holiday stuff, books, misc. kitchen stuff, nicknacks, and other stuff that is just taking up room. Guess this is it for tonight! Thanks for reading!
