I can not believe how tired I am today. It's like I'm the Energizer Bunny running on cheap-o batteries. I wanted to get a lot of stuff done today, but my body is going on strike or something. Every muscle and joint just aches. I got over 6 hours of sleep last night, so I shouldn't feel this way. I even laid down for an hour this afternoon, which I never do. Maybe it's just a combination of the damp weather and PMS, or maybe I'm coming down with the wicked cold that Kevin has. Whatever it is, I want it to go away.

Kevin came down with a bad cold on Thursday. The last time he had a cold was nine months ago. Ironically part of me wished he would move back home so I could make sure he was well taken care of. I have my wish now, and I've been getting him medicine, chicken noodle soup, filling a vaporizer at night, getting him more bankets and pillows, etc. If all my wishes come true, than I wish for health, wealth and happiness for everyone.

Ashley had a cold last week, but fortunately MacKenzie has not gotten sick yet, and hopefully won't be sick for a long, long time.

My apologies to anyone that was offended by my remark on Thursday about people that drive large vehicles. Not all people that fall in that category are stupid.

Yesterday I had a lot of running around to do. I started off running Kevin to work, then back home to get some clothes hung out on the clothes line and open up the windows in the house. From there I ran to the post office, then to my OB-GYN appointment. Since I've hit the big 4-0, I was told to schedule a mammogram, but that will have to wait until either John or I are employed again and have insurance.

From the doctor's, I ran to the bank to make a deposit, then drove out to babysit MacKenzie. Ashley had a job interview at the last minute, and, fortunately, I was available. Ashley's looking for a part-time evening job, preferrably not at the mall, and not in fast food. MacKenzie is getting so big and is already in the stage two diapers. Soon, she'll be in size 6-9 month clothes. Hard to believe she'll be two months old on Tuesday.

After babysitting, I stopped at Walmart on the way home to pick up a few things (medicine, cat food, envelopes, ...). By the time I got home, the sun was about to set.

Yesterday was a wonderful fall day weather-wise. The trees that still have a lot of leaves were even more beautiful in the sunshine

Some trees area almost bare, indicating that winter will be here before we know it.

A year ago, we already had a blanket of snow on the ground. Although we've had frost, snow flurries, and hail, we haven't had any accumulated snow yet. But, like I said, winter will be here before we know it.
