of speciality. Instead we have many areas of speciality that sees the group
build, design, construct and maintain facilities across the globe. Since 1983
the company has gone from strength to strength, carefully selecting projects
on the basis of community need and benefits. This has seen thousands of homes
- indeed cities - constructed in the Balkans, Middle East and Northern Africa.
In addition to this, infrastructure projects such as dams, bridges, hydro-electric
power plants, roads and freeways. An agreement soon to be signed will see Amco
commisioned to build, design and construct 350,000 low income homes for the
people of Guatemala.
At Amco , we pride ourselves on not being restricted by
boundaries, borders or distance, and even with this in mind we still commit
to achieving a result above and beyond expectation, on time and within budget.
In recent times Amco has and will continue to explore new fields of interest
such as Information Technology, Share Trading, Import and Export. Meeting global
needs has also led the group to invest in the Australian Meat Industry to assist
in covering the shortfall in demand created by the recent problems in Europe.
