Samuel Hartley Episode: Miracle Man This faith healer loses faith in himself and God when those he attempts to heal begin to die. After being killed in his jail cell, Hartley's spirit visits his former friend, Leonard Vance, who was secretly poisoning Samuel's parishoners. Samuel's spirit forces Vance to poison himself. Samuel's body then disappears from the morgue.

Howard Graves Episode: Shadows Graves was murdered by a co-worker, Robert Dorland, after threatening to expose the company's unsavory dealings with terrorists. Graves' spirit returns from the dead to take revenge on the man who killed him and to protect his protoge, Lauren Kyte. After proof of his co-worker's deed is discovered, Graves' spirit is finally able to find peace.

Agt. Bill Patterson Episode: Grotesque Agt. Patterson finally captures a serial killer he has been hunting for three years. The murderer claims that an evil entity forced him to kill. After the arrest, Patterson is possessed by this same spirit and continues the killer's work, viciously murdering several people, including his own partner. Patterson is arrested once Mulder discovers his crimes.

Evil Entity Episode: Grotesque A dark spirit takes possession of John Mostow, and forces him to brutally murder young men for three years. Mostow draws sketch after sketch of gargoyles, as he believes that they will protect him from the entity, but to no avail. Mostow is arrested, and the evil entity takes control of Agt. Bill Patterson...the killings continue.

Ronnie Strickland Episode: Bad Blood No longer content to gum cattle necks for his blood sustenance, Ronnie rebels against the vampire coven and turns to drugging/murdering unsuspecting pizza eaters. His blood-letting spree comes to and end when Agent Mulders tracks him down and drives a stake through his heart.
