July 15, 1999: Not much new here. Busy. Get to work tomorrow!! Finally. Tired. So that's all for now. July 08, 1999: I'm back in Eau Claire. Dr says
that I can't work until Monday, since I still have mono in my system. I
went and saw Austin Powers today with Julie. I killed a smallish animal on
94 when driving back here. Traumatic. Don't like killing things. Not much
to do here. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
Still home. Going back to Eau Claire tomorrow probably. Fun, eh? Saw
Big Daddy tonight. Very good movie. funnnnyyyy. I hate people. Especially
when driving. GRR! Get to see my back doctor in the morning. Which means I
have to get up in the morning. GRRRRR!!!!!! I scanned in a bunch of new
pictures. They are here.
Have fun.
July 03, 1999:
Hey, I'm at home. I went to the
Ani Difranco concert tonight. And might I say HAHAHA to all those who
missed it, because it kicked major ass!!!! She's so awesome!!!!!!!!!!! And
her opening act, Maceo Parker, was pretty cool too. His son was cute. And
he was doing hip-hop with Ani. It was nifty. But tomorrow is the 4th, so
I'm going to try and meet up with peoples in Taylors Falls. Oh, and Corey
Parker (Maceo's son) is still cute. (says BehtBeht). He's a beautiful
black man. I think she wants to jump his bones. But that's a secret. Shh.
But yeah. That's whats up.
June 30, 1999:
As many of you probably have
heard, I have mono. Again. You are only supposed to be able to get it
once. I had it in 8th grade. And I have it again. But I have a hellish
case this time. I'm on predisone so that I can eat. Fun. Eh? And it means
I can't waitress for a couple weeks. But I did get a call about an office
job I had applied for a couple weeks ago yesterday morning. I interview
tomorrow. Other than that, I've just been sleeping alot. And watching TV.
Mono is so exciting ya know. I'll be coming home on the 3rd for the Ani
concert. YES, I'M STILL GOING! I could be dying of the bubonic plague and
still go to that concert.
June 19, 1999:
I just got home from work.
Woohoo. Kinda. I made $25 today in tips though! I'm going home tomorrow
for a day or so. So you that are from Blaine, you can call me at home. I'd
probably appreciate it. I have off until 5:30 pm Tuesday, so I'll probably
come back on Monday night. (I have an appointment in the morning on
Tuesday). But my back is killing me, and so are my feet, sooooooo.... me
go now.
June 10, 1999:
Ok, I have a job!!! I work at
Woo's Pagoda, which is a nice (and authentic) Chinese restaurant here in
Eau Claire. I make $3/hr plus tips. So I have money!!! WOOHOO!!!!! I'll be
coming back to Blaine sometime next week. I have to find out when I work
first. And Jarrett is coming to Eau Claire to visit on the weekend of July
4th! So I'll get to hang out with him and watch movies. Oh, and some VERY
VERY SAD NEWS! Evil (House's old kitty) died in a car accident. Smooshed.
Poor thing. But I had better get back home and get to work. Mmm...uniform.
Sara looks very silly in uniform. Sara feels very silly in uniform.
June 9, 1999:
I'm in Eau Claire right now.
Looking for employment. Oh, and I'm 20 years old! As of the 5th. For my
birthday, the harem minus Chad, plus Derek went to TGI Fridays for
dessert, and for my embarrassment, and the waitresses tied balloons to my
hair. Then we went to Grand Casino Hinkly, where my uncle Al was dealing
blackjack, and played blackjack for a while, where I won $50, and then
lost that and my original $20. All because Al had to go on break and
couldn't deal. Screwed everything up. It was fun though. I have a cellular
phone now. Except people keep calling for the Erickson residence.
Annoying. NO, this is SARA'S phone, not the Ericksons!!! Oh, and cliff
jumping the other week was fun, even though I didn't jump. Yes, I am a
wuss. But what can I say, it goes against my natural instincts. And since
those natural instincts prevent me from jumping to my death from other
things, maybe I should just let them be. At least until I am mentally
stable (hah, like that will ever happen). At least I am now in Eau Claire,
and so I won't have every minute that Luke is around haunted my him
yelling "shaaa" (he can't quite pronounce sara). That kid
managed to get through the child proof door knob things once!! I love him,
and he's adorable, but especially lately when I've had sinus headaches,
the sound of him yelling my name can get annoying. And right now I have
the apartment to myself, since Julie is at home tonight. But maybe I'll be
able to fall asleep now....zzzzzz
