November 2000

November 27, 2000 Sorry about the delay in updating. I've been sick and busy. I had the great luck to get sick with what appears to be a sinus infection two days before my Orchestra concert. Luckily it went well regardless, and nobody heard the coughing attack I had during the 5th movement. Thanksgiving went well. Or actually my family's substitute Thanksgiving on Saturday. Thanksgiving itself I spent alone in my apartment eating Hamburger Helper. Sad, isn't it? Oh...people...be good little monkeys and read Lethal Doses. Its is a very good online comic done by Lem, one of the people at House. He has a good forum and links to other good comics on his site. November 10, 2000 Wow, I'm actually updating in a reasonable amount of time. I really wish all this election stuff was done with. I'm getting really sick of it. I really hope Gore ends up winning, but I'm almost sick enough with this that I don't really care anymore. No matter who wins in Florida, its going to drag on forever with other states or things being contested. Can't we just go to popular vote????? It would prevent this confusion from happening again. Other than that....I rule! I got the last seat in the section of Music History that I wanted AND the last seat in Technical Editing, which I needed! AND I got 45 minutes of sleep last night...hehehehehe.....well, I could have gotten 1-2 hours, but at that point, sleeping that much would make it too hard for me to get up early to go and print out my paper before my 8am class. And so I took a shower at 5am, then decided to take a little nap, since its actually easier on your body to either take little naps or sleep for 8 hours. November 8, 2000 So...did everyone vote?? Better have. I stayed up until late watching the election....went to bed after Bush was announced the winner. Then when I was driving to school way too early this morning, I heard on the radio that it's not definite at all. Now isn't this the screwiest thing ever?? Hah! I just read something amusing from Yishan's website ... "Only Sweden openly expressed any regrets when faced with an apparent Bush win"...from the Associated Press. Sweden Rocks. So...we are faced with a good possibility of Bush being president. Anyone want to move to Canada with me???? Or how about Australia?? Fiji?? Other than that....life is ok here. Playing with the University Symphony Orchestra which is really fun. And I might get a new oboe student since my other one dropped. And I'm really really tired. Much too much homework lately. And my love life isn't as bad as it seemed before. November 1, 2000 Happy Halloween a day late to all. Not much new here, I've been sick for a week. Which isn't much fun. I'm in class right now, waiting for the proffessor to come so we can learn how to use Photoshop. Woohoo. Other than that, don't ask. Life is depressing. Most of you probably don't even want to know. Basically....I don't have a boyfriend anymore. To make a long story short. Wah. |
