GARDEN
In my garden are many roses, some Dusty Miller and a few other plants.  I have only started this year to build and cultivate my gardens.  I have only been in my new home since October of 1999.

Since the tornado of May 3, 1999 destroyed my home in Moore, Oklahoma, I have been almost totally rebuilding my life and my surroundings.

Thanks to God and friends my life is starting to feel normal again for a change. Then again it might be the 18 rose bushes I have surrounding the new house.  Or maybe, just maybe is the fountain in the middle of one of the beds?  Who knows but is feeling more like home here everyday.

I must admit it has been somewhat different with 5 acres instead of three tiny lots.  More of a challenge I guess.

Well here are some pictures of my beautiful roses and my fountain, that I would love to share with you now.

Now is the perfect time to start planning and arranging your gardens and flower beds.  I am not a perfect gardener so will not tell you what is right or wrong, there are so many experts here on the internet that I will leave that task to them and give you some links to the online stores and nurseries I love to use.

I have three rose garden areas, one with a flowing fountain as shown here. All of the roses shown on these pages are my own.  I love to play with the color and texture of the roses in my garden making a patchwork quilt so to speak.

The few things I know are listed here:
1. Roses love a well fertilized soil.
2. Roses hate standing in water so use a area that drains well for your garden or use a raised framed box to make them happy.
3. They love to be feed every two to three weeks for optimal blooms and vibrant colors.

So please come visit often and I will hopefully get more links and pictures up for you enjoyment.
I would love to hear your thoughts or comments on my site and garden.
