In 1995, Lea starred in a TV movie with Jonathon Lithgow called Redwood Curtain. In it, she played an adopted Vietnamese girl (sort of like Tam in Miss Saigon) who desperately wants to find her parents. It's a very good movie and Lea does a great job in it!
